Operations & Drop-In Coordinator
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Helpline & Drop-in Center & Operations Coordination
Job Duties:
Manage OPS Helpline & waitlist. Log contacts in Apricot. Assess the urgency of the caller’s need. Add to the waitlist or refer to the appropriate staff. Share updates in weekly Case Consultation. Provide callers with weekly group information and resources
Oversee and respond to visitors through the Ring camera.
Monitor & recharge the RING battery as needed.
Welcome & orient participants to the drop-in space; provide support and resources to all participants.
Safety checks the physical space when you arrive and before leaving at the end of the day (heat, lights, garbage, doors locked, etc).
Ensure that the drop-in space is functional and ready for opening (front and back rooms clean and wiped down, bathrooms, snacks stocked)
Order and serve dinner to visitors.
Organize & maintain supplies inventory anticipating needed items; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Research, set up, and coordinate operations related to drop-in, including things like phone management systems, first aid training, and delivery, or other new initiatives.
Monitor supplies budget ensuring compliance with budgeted allocations.
Maintain daily drop-in center service tracking, paperwork filing, and data entry when applicable via our online system Apricot.
Coordinate and provide services in the drop-in center in compliance with contracts and grant awards.
Support advocates, workshop facilitators, volunteers, and interns in conducting their work in the drop-in center space.
Coordinate & schedule maintenance services as needed (property manager, cleaners, etc)
Work collaboratively with staff to evaluate programming and collect participant feedback.
Develop relationships with partners and foster meaningful collaboration with supportive services for the drop-in center (e.g. legal advocacy, medical services, etc), including attending and facilitating meetings with outside providers outside of drop-in center hours.
Manage Accounting emails
Maintain records of financial transactions in Quickbooks.
Assist direct service staff in supporting participants and modeling appropriate behavior management skills and interpersonal relationships.
When needed, aid in participant conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and de-escalation.
Participate in case consultations and debriefs with the Survivor Services team.
Other duties, as assigned.
General Program and Staff Responsibilities:
In coordination with other staff, ensure the drop-in space is a consistent, safe, compassionate, efficient, welcoming, and interactive environment.
Participate in community collaborations, trainings, meetings, and partnerships to ensure the most appropriate and culturally relevant resources and referrals are available for participants.
Deliver all services and strategies in a manner that is culturally sensitive and centers the strengths and dignity of the person, and ensure encounters and interactions are respectful and responsive to the beliefs and practices, sexual orientations, disability statuses, age, gender identities, cultural preferences, and linguistic needs of all individuals.
Contribute as an active team player who values transparency and communication.

Qualifications and Skills:
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to take initiative and work both collectively and autonomously
Experience in utilizing de-escalation skills
Tech and computer skills (e.g. sending emails and files, fixing a photocopier, troubleshooting issues with online software and databases, etc.)
Empathetic and compassionate listener with the ability to problem-solve
Ability to stay grounded and calm for participants during crisis
Ability to provide guided self-expression experiences to help clients recover from trauma
Knowledge of therapeutic and recovery support
A working understanding of how trauma manifests in the body/mind, and the ability to provide resources for clients with codependency, addiction, PTSD
A working knowledge of commercial sexual exploitation, gender-based violence, sexual assault, domestic violence, homelessness, and/or substance dependence
Theoretical and/or experiential understanding of complex trauma and systemic oppression particularly an understanding of sex/gender-based oppression, racism, and poverty.
Flexible, self-starter, and a team player
Effective written and verbal communication
Passion to create social systems change including the active dismantling of patriarchy, heterosexism, and classism

Preferred Skills:
Understanding of CSE through lived experience and/or work/education history
A combination of work experience lived experience, and education comparable to a BA in a social service or social science discipline
1 year experience with program coordination
Knowledge of and experience utilizing relevant local referral services systems, and resources
Experience partnering and networking with agencies on behalf of CSE or related issues
Transportation and Physical Requirements:
This role requires access to reliable transportation and an ability to perform moderate physical work.
Schedule:
36-hour work week completed Monday through Friday, with the occasional evening or Saturday shift.
For this position, work will take place on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays during the hours of 11 am-6 pm. Outside of those hours, OPS staff can flex their remaining schedules as needed and appropriate. Standard work hours are between 10 am-6 pm. In-person work will include duties at our Seattle office and outreach/partner meetings in Seattle. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:
$25- $27 per hour
OPS considers 1 FTE as 36 hours a week.
OPS provides vacation, paid holidays (including a winter break), and sick leave after the successful completion of the introductory period.

Survivor Career Navigator (search on pause)
POSITION SUMMARY
The CSE Survivor Career Navigator supports survivors of commercial sexual exploitation as they define, pursue, and achieve employment, education, and financial stability goals. This role offers strengths-based coaching, resource navigation, and career planning, grounded in survivor-led principles and trauma-informed care.
This is a direct service position, but not a crisis response role. The Career Navigator helps build economic power by supporting participants as they overcome systemic barriers and reenter the workforce or education systems with confidence and dignity.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Career Navigation & Economic Empowerment (90%)
Provide 1:1 coaching sessions to support survivors in exploring career pathways, setting employment or education goals, and building confidence.
Assist participants with job readiness activities, including resume development, cover letter creation, job search strategies, mock interviews, and job or school application preparation.
Connect participants with external resources, including GED programs, certificate training, higher education, apprenticeships, reentry programs, and job placement services.
Provide support around barriers such as criminal history, housing instability, trauma, or caregiving responsibilities.
Create tailored employment or educational plans that are rooted in the participant's goals and life circumstances.
Maintain participant records and service data in Apricot.
Collaborate with Survivor Advocates and mental health staff to ensure wraparound support.
Team & Program Support (10%)
Participate in weekly team meetings, case consultations, and reflective supervision.
Contribute to creating a welcoming, safe, and healing-centered drop-in space.
Collaborate with external partners and community organizations to expand opportunities for survivor participants.
Attend occasional OPS events or celebrations (some evenings/Saturdays)
Required Qualifications:
Lived or professional experience related to CSE, career navigation, reentry, or systems-impacted communities
Deep understanding of the systemic barriers survivors face in employment, education, and economic stability
Experience in job coaching, career planning, adult learning, or employment support
High emotional intelligence and the ability to hold space for trauma while encouraging growth
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Tech competency, including basic knowledge of Google Suite and comfort using online platforms for documentation or participant support
Commitment to anti-oppression and social justice values in the workplace
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience navigating or working within the criminal legal system, reentry services, or workforce programs
Knowledge of trauma recovery, codependency, addiction, or PTSD, and how these impact employment
Familiarity with social service systems and local resources in King County
A combination of education, work, and lived experience equivalent to a BA in a related field (social work, education, workforce development, etc.)
WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT:
36-hour work week, typically Monday–Friday, 10 am–6 pm (flexible schedule with occasional evenings or Saturdays)
Hybrid model with in-person work at OPS’s Seattle office and community partner meetings throughout Seattle.
Requires moderate physical activity and access to reliable transportation.

Part Time Mental Health and Wellness Therapist (search on pause)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The Part Time Mental Health and Wellness Therapist will provide trauma-informed, client-centered therapeutic support to individuals actively experiencing exploitation. This position ensures continuity of mental health services during a period of transition and supports OPS participants with stabilization and healing through individual and group-based therapy. The Therapist collaborates with partner agencies and community providers to facilitate access to mental health and substance use resources, fostering a comprehensive and holistic approach to client care.
This interim role is designed to bridge the gap while OPS’s long-standing therapist is out for health-related reasons. Once the current therapist is ready and able to return to work remotely, this role will transition to a part-time position to complement her as she steps into a supervisory capacity. In the interim, this position will report to the Executive Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide ongoing and one-time crisis intervention services to survivors of CSE, utilizing low-barrier, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.
Deliver individual therapy, coping skills support, and accompaniment to survivors.
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate 1-2 mental health/coping skills groups per month.
Build trust-based relationships with survivors of complex trauma, focusing on stabilization and referrals to long-term therapeutic resources.
Conduct mental health assessments and provide referrals for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and other mental health services as needed.
Maintain confidential, accurate documentation of client interactions, including intakes, assessments, and progress notes.
Collaborate with OPS Advocates to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
Participate in crisis interventions and debriefs as required.
Assist in creating and providing quarterly internal training to deepen staff understanding of trauma-informed practices.
Contribute to community training on therapeutic modalities and best practices in collaboration with leadership.
Support the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on therapeutic services and relevant grants/contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Active Washington State licensure (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, LASW) or active associate-level credential with a pathway to full licensure.
Ability to pass a background check according to OPS policies and procedures.
Demonstrated understanding of trauma’s impact on the body and mind, with experience addressing codependency, addiction, healthy boundaries, and PTSD.
Skilled in mindfulness practices, group facilitation, and engaging participants who may be therapy-averse.
Working knowledge of Commercial Sexual Exploitation, gender-based violence, sexual assault, domestic violence, homelessness, and substance dependence.
Familiarity with complex trauma, systemic oppression, and intersectional issues such as sex-based oppression, racism, and poverty.
Empathetic and calm under pressure, with the ability to guide clients through crises.
Strong documentation and confidentiality skills.
Flexible, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
Passion for social systems change and dismantling systems of oppression, including white supremacy, patriarchy, heterosexism, and classism.
Commitment to OPS’s mission and values, focusing on survivor-centered care and women’s liberation.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position will begin at 1.0 FTE and is expected to move to 0.5 FTE (18-25 hours per week) after 6 months.
Hourly position ranging from $33/hour to $37/hour based on experience.
