D9 Community Resource Event

At OPS, every moment of connection is an opportunity to create healing and foster resilience. On Friday, March 27th, we had the privilege of joining survivors, accomplices, and community members for the D9 Community Resource Event, held at the beautiful Lake Wilderness Lodge and graciously hosted by King County VSHSC.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for making this event such a meaningful celebration of support, growth, and togetherness.

Throughout the evening, we witnessed incredible moments of joy and connection. Whether you were browsing the wide range of empowering community resources, savoring delicious complimentary food, or smiling through the bright colors of face painting, this event gave everyone the chance to engage and discover in their own way.

But more than that, it was a space for survivors to feel seen and valued—a welcoming environment where people could learn, connect, and share in the strength of community. These opportunities to gather, support one another, and grow together remind us why our mission matters.

Your participation helps build a foundation for healing, resilience, and empowerment across our community, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

As we reflect on this event, we’re reminded that fostering connection is not just about a single evening—it’s about creating ongoing spaces where survivors and allies can show up for one another with compassion and strength. Together, we are building a future filled with hope and understanding.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
